Welcome to

High Plains Paso Fino Horse Association

Equifest of Kansas was held February 23, 24,and 25th in Topeka, Kansas at the ExpoCentre. It was very well attended. Many people stopped at the High Plains Paso Fino booth and asked about the Paso Fino Horse. It was a good promotion for the breed. Harley and Janet Broers want to thank all of those who stepped up and worked in the booth while Harley and Janet dealt with unexpected health issues. Amy Kenworthy, Jane Getto, Patti Blichmann and Janet Broers set up the booth on Thursday prior to the opening on Friday. Amy, Patti opened the booth and worked Friday morning and they along with Jane Getto and Robin Spinner filled in the spots where Janet and Harley were scheduled. Tom and Retta Mays, Lenora and Ken Schuldt, Sue Besse, took afternoon shifts on Friday and Saturday. I, Janet, especially want to thank Amy Kenworthy who came to the hospital at 3:00 a.m. Friday morning and stayed with me until family could get there. Harley and Janet are doing okay now. Harley is over the bacterial infection and Janet's heart is working well. Thanks so much to everyone for their support. High Plains people are the best!!!
